ICBMR is an independent research institute being established to advance psychiatry through neuroscience, computational modelling, artificial intelligence, and brain-network science — moving diagnosis from subjective impression toward objective, biologically informed biomarkers.
Psychiatric disorders are disorders of brain networks — not isolated symptoms.
Understanding them requires combining clinical observation, objective cognitive measurement, EEG, neuroimaging, computational models, AI, and dynamic brain-network analysis. Diagnosis should eventually rest on measurable biomarkers alongside clinical assessment.
